New Saskatchewan voice on our Board

On the Prairies, questions about prosperity rarely stay abstract for long. They show up in decisions about what to grow, where to invest and how to keep communities strong in a world that is changing quickly. These are the kinds of questions that guide the work of the Canada West Foundation (CWF).
That is why we are pleased to welcome Frank Hart as the newest member of our Board of Directors, representing Saskatchewan.
Frank is a retired executive and strategy consultant with senior leadership experience in government, financial services and industry. He has served as president or CEO of several organizations including Crown Investments Corporation, EDS Canada, Greystone Managed Investments and Protein Industries Canada, and held VP or managing director roles at EDS and TD Asset Management. He has chaired corporate and non-profit boards and is an active venture capital investor and advisor on major projects.
“Frank brings a strong Saskatchewan lens and deep experience in government, finance and agriculture. His insight will strengthen the guidance our Board provides as we work to support a more prosperous and competitive West within a stronger Canada.”
– Hon. Doug Black, KC, Chair of the Canada West Foundation’s Board of Directors
“I am honoured to join the Canada West Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Foundation plays an important role in shaping responses to issues that matter for Saskatchewan and for Western Canada, from agriculture to trade and energy. I look forward to contributing to that work.”
– Frank Hart, Board Director
Frank holds a BA and a BA Honours degree and is a Fellow of the Certified Management Consultants of Canada (FCMC). His combination of board experience, policy work, and private-sector leadership will be an important asset as CWF continues to deliver practical, evidence-based policy for Western Canada.
